Due to road and parking lot conditions, all Crossings locations are closed and activities (including The Gathering) are canceled through Tuesday, January 27.

Voice of Hope

Continuing a Legacy of Faith & Generosity

Being a voice of hope by sharing Jesus with those in our existing community and the communities we hope to build in the future.

Thank You, Crossings Family

Because of your continued prayers and generosity, construction is beginning at Crossings East Edmond! Watch this video to learn more.

Pray for East Edmond

Commit to praying with us for this new location, and check back here regularly for updated prayer focuses.

Right now you can be praying for:

  • Pray for the physical foundation of our new building … that the ground would be firm and the construction sound. As we watch the concrete pour and the steel rise, may we be reminded that Jesus Christ is our cornerstone.
  • Pray for every laborer who steps onto our job site … for their physical safety and protection and that they will experience the love of Christ as they construct a place where people will one day worship God.
  • Pray for our future neighbors … that our presence would be a blessing to the neighborhood long before we open the doors. Ask God to begin preparing the hearts of those who have never stepped into a church, that they would feel a sense of “coming home” the first time they visit.
  • Pray for God to prepare us … that we will grow in our love for him and in our love for one another so we are ready to help people in East Edmond find and follow Jesus.

Frequently Asked Questions

We recognized that the city of Edmond was shifting to the east, and there was going to be a unique combination: one of the largest areas of population growth in our metro area is also a community that doesn’t have many churches. There are also a lot of people at Crossings Edmond who are waiting patiently for this new location to come along because they live within that community. In addition, we have talked to many people who are living in the community and are curious and interested in becoming a part of our church as they currently are not in church anywhere.

Crossings exists for one purpose: to help people find and follow Jesus. Currently, we do this in OKC, at the Community Center, at Mayfair, at Edmond, in the Children's Center, and even in prisons all across our state. Our desire is to continue the same mission and help people find and follow Jesus in the growing East Edmond community.

We have designed a church building that will accommodate the ministry needs of a growing community for generations, not just the next five years. Reading the East Edmond 2050 vision from the city of Edmond makes it clear just how many people will call this community home. The development that is occurring now directly speaks to this reality. Also, we want to be able to hand over a beautiful, well-maintained, timeless church to the next generation. Practically, it costs significantly more to add to buildings over time versus designing and building once. If we can avoid making expensive changes in the future, it allows a future generation to pay it forward to new communities rather than raising funds to retrofit or expand existing spaces. Our hope is that the people who call East Edmond home, the ministry that occurs there, and the beauty of the building and its clear distinction as a church will make it an anchor in the community for 100+ years, not just the short term.

Crossings will bring far more to the community than just a worship service. We bring our core ministries, including worship, teaching, weekly Bible studies, women's ministry, men's ministry, and outreach to the community, just like we do at each existing location.

Part of the Voice of Hope Initiative is to be ready for future opportunities. At the moment, there are no other specific locations planned, but we do want to stand ready for what God may bring. We have reviewed many opportunities and will continue to review, pray, and dream. We are confident as God provides the right opportunities, he will also provide the resources to accompany them, both in terms of people ready to lead and financial requirements.

Yes, although we have enough funds for the next project on our list—Crossings East Edmond—we still have more projects in the Voice of Hope. The funds we have raised to date have come from over 2,500 families in our church and counting! Additional funds towards Voice of Hope Initiative will allow us to finish our commitment to the Endowment and provide a head start on future opportunities.

We are finalizing construction plans now and will provide more specific updates in the coming months, including announcements about how those interested in being a part of the East Edmond congregation will begin to gather, pray together, learn together, and form community even before the church facility itself is completed. If you are interested in being part of the start of East Edmond, click here. Stay tuned for more information on these opportunities, as well as when we expect to have the grand opening!

Voice of Hope Initiative: Current and Completed Projects

Continuing a Legacy of Faith & Generocity

One aspect of the vision at Crossings is to be a voice of hope. The name of this initiative is very intentional. It’s meant to help keep our focus on the goal of sharing Jesus with those in our existing community and the communities we hope to build in the future. It’s a reminder that this initiative isn’t about us; it’s about what God can do through us if we allow him.

Since the Voice of Hope Initiative began in 2023, your sacrificial giving and generosity has gone towards several improvements and opportunities that are already complete and a few that are still remaining. Learn more about what we've already finished and what we're still working on.

Current Projects
East Edmond
  • We purchased 11 acres of land at Covell and Air Depot using funds generously donated during the 2019 GO capital campaign. As a part of the Voice of Hope Initiative, we asked for funds to construct a building for the new church on that land. This is the biggest allocation of funds in the Voice of Hope Initiative due partially to high building and material costs.
  • The vision for Crossings East Edmond is to be a voice of hope to the growing population east of I-35 right now and for decades to come. This building will have ample room for worship, kids and students ministries, Sunday School, Wednesday Night classes, support and recovery groups, and other core ministry offerings from opening day.
Endowment
  • The Crossings Community Endowment started in 2017 and allows Crossings members and friends to extend their financial support of the church’s Christ-centered vision to impact our community and world during and beyond their lifetimes.
  • Being debt free has always been part of the Crossings legacy, and the endowment helps us ensure it will continue to remain part of our legacy. The Endowment is a support organization to the church that provides long-term financial assistance to Crossings and its ministries for many years.
  • All gifts given to the Endowment are gathered for investment then funds from the investment earnings are given to expand church ministries, improve church campuses, and aid in the development of new ministries as opportunities arise.
  • Ten percent of all contributions to the Voice of Hope Initiative will go directly to the Endowment, allowing us to be a voice of hope to future generations of Crossings attendees because donations to the Endowment are gifts that “keep on giving” for years to come.
Future Opportunities
  • We want to be ready to move where God leads us to meet the needs of new communities.
  • These funds require faith because we aren’t even certain what God has in mind for us yet. We trust God to show us how we can continue to be a voice of hope, and we want to be prepared when he brings those opportunities to us.

Completed Projects
Crossings Mayfair
  • The Crossings Mayfair Grand Opening was Sunday, May 26, 2024.
  • Mayfair Church of Christ graciously gave their building to us to become Crossings Mayfair, along with a global missions ministry, a committed staff, and a congregation motivated to reach the community. Crossings provided families that want to be a part of this new effort, a pastoral staff, our ministries, and our Wesleyan doctrinal roots.
  • We are thankful for our Church of Christ friends and their willingness to do “whatever it takes” to reach the community. Mayfair and Crossings realize there is more to unite us than divide us; we are truly one in the essentials.
  • Funds from the Voice of Hope Initiative allowed us to renovate areas of the existing building to make necessary changes to prepare it for our ministries, including a place to experience meaningful worship and space for kids to learn about Jesus in a fun environment, just like our other Crossings locations.
Crossings Edmond Adult Education Expansion
  • Edmond expansion was completed in September 2024!
  • Given the rapid growth of the Adult Education Ministry taking place at Crossings Edmond and their desire for connection on Sundays and throughout the week, we needed more space for Sunday School and Wednesday Night classes. Funds from the Voice of Hope Initiative allowed us to add 6,200 square feet to the existing building for three Adult Education rooms (can be divided to make six rooms), create more space for 5th & 6th graders, and move the 2nd-4th grade kids to the first floor Crossings Kids area.
Jess Dunn Chapel Improvements
  • Funding was provided in July 2025 to meet needs in the chapel for their worship services!
  • Jess Dunn Correctional Center has been one of our closest partners since the launch of our Prison Ministry, and it is one of our most attended prison services.
Community Center Worship Service Improvements
  • Services began in the newly completed Forum on August 10, 2025!
  • A worship service was launched at the Community Center on October 2, 2022. We have been blessed to further develop our relationship with the surrounding community through this weekly service. As this service has grown, so did the need for permanent equipment. The service was using rented media equipment, so funds from the Voice of Hope Initiative were used to provide for the more permanent needs of this service and for the people worshiping at Crossings Community Center each Sunday.

GIVE

Take a step of faith and give sacrificially towards the projects remaining in this initiative—the Endowment and future opportunities. Make a giving decision that honors God and that is right for you. Your giving schedule may be weekly, monthly, or another schedule of your choice.

Note: If you are not consistently tithing to the church, we ask you to do that first, even if it means you cannot give to Voice of Hope. Biblically, tithes fund the ministries of the church.

May the God of hope

fill you with all joy and peace
as you trust in him,
so that you may overflow with hope
